Microsoft has supported FFL from early 2007. They have sponsored and are hosting the website for showcasing films and the FFL community website. They also support FFL activites in schools by sponsoring film making/editing kits which are available for short loan to schools through FFL.

NESTA (The National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts) gave FFL the inital award in 2005 which kick started the project. In 2007 a small award was given to undertake collaborative work with Scicast, Science made Simple, Dream Ireland and UK Ecsite. www.nesta.org.uk/

Dream Ireland and FFL have collaborated since 2006. DI has provided training for teachers and students in Dorset in Flash Animation and Stop Frame Animation. FFL has also supported DI's own project working with schools in Northern Ireland. www.dream-ireland.com/
