Film Submission - Terms and Conditions

Films for Learning are creating a safe working environment for teachers and students/children on the internet for sharing digital media and we respect the laws governing intellectual property. Before contributing please ensure the following:

    1. This film is your own work. Any material included which is not your own work, for instance music, comes from a 'copyright free' source or has been included with the owner's permission.
    2. This film contains only the images of students whose parents have given permission for their child's image to be used for broadcast, webcast etc. This permission has been obtained and is held in a written format by me the teacher and/or films contributor/uploader. A Films for Learning Media release form is available for download from here. Downoad a Release Form Now. Films for Learning do not require these release forms; they are to be held on record by the contributing school/teacher. Many schools obtain a generic Media release form from all parents; however as a contributor/teacher it is your responsibility to check this has been obtained as permission can never be assumed.
    3. This film only contains the first names of students/children. The names only appear in the credits and not alongside the images of the student/child. Any referral to a name in a film is that of an alias/made up name. Exceptions to the preceding rules have appropriate permission/media release forms on our school record.
    4. Acknowledgement of these terms gives permission for Films for Learning to use this film or images/screenshots to support promotion of the film and Films for Learning in print and electronic media.
    5. Films for Learning take no responsibility for the images uploaded by individuals/contributors. However if you wish to complain about an image in a film please contact us at info@filmsforlearning.org and we will investigate and where appropriate remove the film/image.
